Since 2013, Mundial has made several “on the road” stops around the world at music industry events with the goal of showcasing the best in global music from Canada.

The Association of Performing Arts Professionals is the national service, advocacy and membership organization for the live performing arts field. APAP is dedicated to developing and supporting a robust performing arts presenting, booking and touring industry and the professionals who work within it. Serving thousands of member organizations and individuals since 1957, APAP works to strengthen the field and advance careers through professional development, grant support, advocacy, networking and the annual APAP|NYC conference.
BABEL MUSIC XP puts Marseille at the economic and cultural epicentre of the contemporary world music scene. With a Professional Trade Fair at the Friche Belle de Mai and world music concerts for the general public at the Dock des Suds, BABEL MUSIC XP is firmly at the heart of the Mediterranean hub on the world music map. The goal of this international event is to contribute towards the revival of a branch of the music industry which is facing a number of new challenges. BABEL MUSIC XP brings musicians and audiences together, promote information sharing and the exchange of ideas between major players in the sector, stimulate the economy of an industry undergoing rapid change and provide the opportunity to experience the very latest world music trends.
BIME is an international music industry event that has been held since 2013 in Bilbao (Basque Country) and, from 2022, also in Bogotá (Colombia). BIME reinforces its commitment to establish alternative routes in the music industry that facilitate and multiply artistic and professional flows between Latin America and Europe, generating opportunities for economic, cultural and relational growth for artists, professionals, companies and audiences directly or indirectly linked to music. All of this is supported, of course, by the linguistic bond of a language shared by nearly 600 million people.
Folk Alliance International (FAI) is an international arts nonprofit National Arts Service Organization based in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Founded in 1989, they are a community of passionate and driven artists, managers, agents, DJs, festivals, record labels, fans, and more. They exist to keep the tradition of folk music thriving through preservation, presentation, and promotion. Folk Alliance International firmly believes that it is through the integration of greater diversity that we can lead to questioning preconceived ideas and by revealing more similarities. Many Mundial Montréal Alumni have been selected for a showcase at FAI.
The International Indigenous Music Summit (IIMS) is the only global event dedicated to creating awareness, sharing resources, and building opportunities for the Indigenous music community. The festival also provides a unique space for Indigenous artists to discuss, exchange, and share and connect with one another, in a culturally sensitive and appropriate space directed at building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between artists and industry professionals.
Near Sept-Îles, on Quebec's North Shore, the community of Maliotenam has long been a meeting and gathering point for the region's Innu people. After 33 years of musical gatherings, today's Festival Innu Nikamu has become one of the most important festivals of Aboriginal music and art in North America, featuring musicians, artists and performers from the First Nations of Quebec and Canada, as well as international guests.
Nordic Folk Alliance is the largest annual meeting place for the Nordic Folk community and the industry surrounding it. The event focuses on music from the Nordic countries and welcome delegates from across the globe. During the event you can hear the music at showcase concerts and expand your network and knowledge at seminars. The curated showcases feature touring and export-ready artists, representing a diverse array of folk genres including Nordic Folk, Global Roots, Americana, Indie-Folk, Indigenous Music, Traditional, Singer-songwriter, Spoken Word, and every imaginable fusion.
A real place for networking and discoveries, the RIDEAU festival, which highlights talent from here and everywhere, offers more than fifty performances presented in the form of showcases, some of which are open to the general public.
The Tallinn Music Week Conference addresses music-related topics from practical workshops and seminars to inspiring pop-culturology talks and cross-sectoral future visions.
WOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo – is the most international and culturally diverse music meeting in the world and the biggest conference of the global music scene, featuring a trade fair, talks, films and showcase concerts.
