The call for professionals for the International Indigenous Music Summit 2025 is extended!

From June 2 to 6, 2025, the International Indigenous Music Summit (IIMS) will return to Toronto! The first music industry event organized by and for the Indigenous professional and artistic community, this annual conference will showcase more than 40 Indigenous artists in front of nearly 260 music industry members from 16 countries.

About the call

The call for professionals, now running until April 27 at 5:00 PM, aims to form a delegation of 15 to 20 individuals who work in the field as agents, managers, promoters, and who collaborate with Indigenous artists. The goal is to increase opportunities for tour development, artistic and professional collaborations, and to help foster connections and opportunities between Quebec and the rest of Canada.

Only agents, managers, promoters, and Indigenous or non-Indigenous artists based in Quebec who collaborate with Indigenous artists are eligible for this call.

About the initiative

Mundial Montréal and IIMS have been long-time partners and have collaborated on several projects during other international missions such as WOMEX (Europe), Folk Alliance International (USA), and APAP (USA).

Financial support

Travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participants. However, financial assistance is available to cover travel and representation costs. Please review the different programs below to see which ones you may be eligible for:

*Incorporated businesses can submit a request for business travel through Stream 2.1 – Support for Business Opportunities and Promotion Abroad under SODEC’s program.

How to register?

Individuals who meet the criteria outlined above and are interested in participating in the activity must submit their application no later than Friday, April 18 at 5:00 PM through the form below. The selected professionals will be notified of their selection during the week of [insert date] May, so they can organize their mission to IIMS.

Call for Industry Professionals for the International Indigenous Music Summit 2025

From June 2-6, 2025, the International Indigenous Music Summit (IIMS) returns to Toronto! This premier global event dedicated to celebrating, raising awareness, sharing resources, and creating opportunities for the Indigenous music community will highlight over 45 Indigenous artists in front of more than 500 music industry professionals from 16 countries.
