Mundial Montréal 2025 : Full Official Showcase Lineup Announced!

Montreal, September 17, 2025 (for immediate release) From November 18 to 22, Festival Mundial Montréal will celebrate its 15th edition across ten venues in the city. Thirty-five official showcases will spotlight Canadian and international artists, carefully selected among the most promising talent on the global music scene.
 

Over 400 industry professionals will attend a dedicated PRO program alongside public concerts, making Mundial Montréal a boutique event where artistic discovery meets strategic networking.
 

The full lineup adds to ten previously announced artists: Caamaño & Ameixeiras, Cruzloma, El Mehdi, Farhad Khosravi Ensemble, Kazdoura, Kin’Gongolo Kiniata, Less Toches, Morgan Toney, Ori Shalva, and Sutartronica. A total of 22 Canadian and 13 international artists will offer a vibrant and diverse panorama of global music.

For the opening of the 15th edition, Bel & Quinn captivate with their soulful energy, Caamaño & Ameixeiras reinvent Galician roots, Diyet & The Love Soldiers bring folk and Indigenous traditional music to the stage, with the night concluding with the eclectic Ladom Ensemble and Camilla Dayyani‘s Persian jazz fusion.

Showcasing the musical richness of Atlantic Canada: Jing Xia‘s guzheng, Leandra Gold‘s electro-acoustic folk, Morgan Toney‘s Mi’kmaq violin and vocals, Nico Paulo‘s dense pop landscapes, and Inn Echo‘s immersive sound journey.

Celebration on stage: Less Toches ignite the dance floor with a Latin fiesta, Maïa Barouh electrifies with Japanese shamanic punk, Killabeatmaker brings their Colombian Afro-Latin house, Sutartronica brings a unique mix of Lithuanian tradition and African electro, and Kin’Gongolo Kiniata closes with their explosive Recycled Electro-futurist Afro-punk.

Thursday afternoon, Mundial 2025 dives into fascinating musical worlds. Seffarine blends Moroccan and Andalusian traditions, NUNNE explores urban-flavored Mexican folk, Cree singer Lancelot Knight fuses soul, guitar, and storytelling, and Barrut mesmerizes with Mediterranean polyphonies from Occitanie.

The official showcases close on Thursday night with a sonic explosion that brings people on a musical adventure across cultures. Las Karamba and Kazdoura will bring Cuban and psychedelic Arab rhythms. Meanwhile, El León and the Strangers, desert blues singer Boubé, and Balkan punks Orkestar Kriminal will deliver raw energy and collective grooves.

This year again, Mundial Montréal presents Rythmes Nocturnes, official late-night showcases highlighting the intersections of global sounds, electronic music, and pop, while continuing to amplify musical diversity and create new opportunities for artists in the touring market. 

 

Miss Kaninna, Queralt Lahoz, and El Mehdi will combine pop, soul, hip hop with global beats. Static River brings Urdu poetics and house music, Cruzloma shares Ecuador post-Colonial bass music, Pick a Piper with a hypnotizing electro blend, and afro-futurist collective Moonshine will immerse the audience in diverse electronic grooves.

Our final afternoon of calm and joy: Farhad Khosravi Ensemble blends Persian and Western classical music, Ori Shalva enchants with Georgian polyphony, Pako will bring a powerful dose of Atikamekw folk-rock, and NAXX BITOTA closes with Congolese rhythms and afropop.
