Great news – The mentoring program is back in 2023! 

Mentoring is at the heart of Mundial Montréal’s mission. Whether it is through our mentorship program, our Mentors Cafés, the Artist Lab or the RADAR series, we want to support the next generation of musicians and professionals to progress through the industry by sharing knowledge and coaching. 

After a successful first edition, we are pleased to announce the return of the mentoring program as part of Mundial Montréal 2023. Places are very limited, in order to always ensure an intimate and stimulating environment.   

The program will be held virtually from August 25 to November 3 and is absolutely free! The PRO mentoring component includes 6 meetings throughout August and November, and the artist component includes two meetings in September and August. 

PRO Mentoring Program 

The PRO mentoring program aims to transfer knowledge between established professionals and the new generation of artisans in the music industry. 

How do I register?

The program will be offered to 20 accredited professionals for Mundial Montréal 2023. Registration is done when purchasing the PRO badge. The first twenty people to confirm their participation in Mundial Montréal who will also mention their interest in the PRO mentoring program will be selected.

The Artist Mentorship Program

The artist division of the mentoring program allows emerging artists to prepare adequately for their showcase at Mundial Montréal, both artistically and professionally. 

How do I register? 

Only artists selected for an official showcase can participate in the artist mentoring program. Artists selected for an official showcase will therefore be directly invited to take part when the selection is announced. They will then be able to express their interest in joining the program.

How to become a mentor? 

We are committed to selecting mentors who have diverse backgrounds and experiences, as to offer coaching that reflects the colors of the industry. The mentors chosen by Mundial Montréal change every year. We are always open to suggestions or applications.
