The call for artists for the 2023 edition of Mundial Montreal (presented by La Caisse de la Culture Desjardins) is now closed. The call for 2024 will happen from February 1 to March 15, 2024.

PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE

SELECTION PROCESS

Mundial Montreal works working closely with its external programming committee on the analysis and selection of artists for the official showcase selection. The committee allows our team to make a selection that is more inclusive and that better meets the needs of all the industry professionals who come to Mundial to discover new artists and find potential collaborators. The committee changes each year. It is made up of 5 industry professionals from across Canada, with different backgrounds and experiences to inform their choices. How to apply

Any artist wishing to be considered for a showcase in the 13th edition of Mundial Montreal must go through the official selection process. We only accept applications submitted through the official process. Applications must be submitted via the official registration form.

Key Information

Date: The call for applications is open from February 1st to March 15th at midnight. How to apply: complete a short form that will allow us to evaluate your application.

The World Routes Network is an initiative recognized by Heritage Canada that brings together Canadian and international presenters every year at Mundial Montreal that are committed to the circulation of artists, prioritizing the promotion of cultural diversity.

Every year, at market events around the world, Mundial Montréal takes part in export initiatives that we refer to as Mundial On The Road: in Europe (WOMEX, Babel Med Music, Tallin Music Week), in the United States (APAP, Folk Alliance International), in Africa (Atlantic Music Expo), etc.

The Indigenous Sounds series highlights artists from Indigenous communities performing as part of Mundial Montreal's programming. It showcases the talent, presence and diversity of various communities across Canada.
